just got through reviewing the 579 emails in my box after being away since
last friday. lots of teapots for the gallery--thanks to all of you. i
will be getting them posted as soon as i can.

i'm not typing like mel because of my huge admiration for him, but because
on friday i took a fall and broke my left ankle, left elbow, and dislocated
my right shoulder. just got home yesterday after three surgeries, and
confined to hosp bed and wheelchair for at least several weeks. so much
for my fall pottery season. can't get near the studio, which is in the
basement. on the other hand, i will have a lot more time for website
stuff. which is good because typing with one hand is a pain in the
a**. thank god for percocet.

please forgive if i don't reply to all your messages individually.

Hi Chris,
Although I do not know you I understand pain.3 years ago I got two hip
replacement eight weeks apart.Attention with percocet. It is darn hard to
stop not using it - that is my personal experience and experiment as well.
Would you show raku fired porcelain necklaces and bracelets too?

Good Grief !! Take very good care of yourself - listen to your body (I
would guess it is screaming at this time) as it heals - don't push too hard
to do something - the most difficult part of recovery for a potter is
allowing yourself time to heal. Be patient with yourself. Keep the list
posted and only work on the computer/website when you feel "up to it", you
deserve to rest on your laurels for all the time and efforts you have given
to the clayart listees MarjB

Chris
When you fall, you fall hard!
One handed typing is really slow - maybe for a while you could just catch up
on Helen Bates 'surfing with 'sites. Hope you can put your leg up when you
are at the computer.
Take it easy
Heal Fast

Best wished
Ann
