Ok, an unabashed advertizement for our upcoming pit fire party.
The Nottingham Center for the Arts, in no. San Diego county California,
is having a Giant Pit Fire Party on Oct. 2nd. This is a completely
non profit event for artisans to come and enjoy the company of other
folks of like mind in the arts/crafts field.
We will have the giant pit fire for those ceramists who want to put
their work in the pit fire, but it is for all artisans working in
whatever medium. We will have the hot glass shop running with
demonstrations in lots of hot glass work, folks demonstrating flamework
glass (that is bead work and such), others doing demos on the potters
wheel, and all sorts of other crafts persons in attendence.
The idea is to have a gathering of artists, crafts workers, friends and
family for an evening of fun.
The party is potluck and we will also provide bbq.s with hot dogs,
hambergers, munchies, and some libations like beer, wine, soft drinks
etc.
There is camping on site and RV space. Also plenty of inexpensive motel
space nearby.
