Are you looking for specifically clay related shows? Have you heard about/
thought about:

The 2005 8th Annual National K12 Ceramic Exhibition entry form is now
available on the web. Click on the link below.K-12 Web Site (
http://www.nationalk12ceramicexhibition.org/site/index.asp?DL=10495&uu=www.nationalk12ceramicexhibition.org&Mon_ID=26543&R=6315196 )

Around here (Maine) the local art college has a K-12 juried show every year
and the local art museum has Youth Art Month in March and displays Maine
student artworks. Try some of your local schools and museums. Also try
checking art supply catalogues and websites. I know Dick Blick has a
linoleum cut competition each year.

Hope this helps a bit.

Dear S Hill,
State Agricultural Shows or similar regional and local functions
usually have sections devoted to arts and crafts with classes for
School Student Works.
Do you think Competition in the arts and crafts is a worthwhile
educational objective at High School level?
Best regards,
Ivor Lewis.
