This is what puts most historic work in a different category
compare to what we are doing today, even though our "technical"
knowledge is superior: A devotional attitude allows the maker to
create beyond ego and "personal" expression.

The name of the God does not matter. It is your
attitude toward the work. If you only "use" the work, the work is
limited by you. If you let the work use you, you are expanded by the
work.

Like Picasso said, when asked about his mastery over his
art: Picasso said, "I can do anything the art tells me to do."
