From the excel spreadsheet do a "save as" click on html and it will =
save as a web page, then create a button in your web designer and link =
to the named html. Make sure you download the html to your server.

A kind and generous soul has placed all my Frits from my Frits webpage =
into an Excel spreadsheet!=20
And gave it to me! It really makes a difference seeing all the info =
grouped together belly to butt.
I would like to make it available to all who visit.=20
How do I go about adding the Spreadsheet icon to my site so that it will =
launch automatically when someone clicks on it?
Or direct me to a book that will explain it.
Please answer offlist. TIA

All you need to do is link to the file, as in href="data/myfile.xls.lnk> click here .

If you want to click on an icon, you'll need to find one and put that
inside the link as well .

If you do that and it's still not working, though likely it will work,
it could be because your server needs to be properly configured to use
XLS as a mime type. A simple email to your web host admin should get
that going.

from a Web page instead of it opening in Internet Explorer'.
