I DO know how it is to be misunderstood because of
stereotypical thinking concerning one's geographical
background........ as a hillbilly southerner and for many years
now a desert rat ... yep, I know.... actually such
misunderstandings provide me with much amusement.

My best to the airedale ..... Mojo's, too.

Wow did you ever say a mouthful in the above first sentence in that
paragraph! It would be a wonderful thing if We as a world wide group could
remember that geographical back grounds sure can cause many misunderstandings
and what one feller thinks of as rude another person thinks is hillarious...
ps hearing the word MassHoler as a description of someone from the
state of Massachusettes usually a driver in Bo town aka bean town or to the
rest of the world as BOSTON sent me into a fit of giggles and smiles from the
familiarity and home town feel of the word..

Its hard to think globally when your so geographically challenged to one
area ... did I say that right? I for one am fairly careless in my speech
and figure everyone knows my heart or should and that they will listen to
what I MEAN and not what I say... reality check please HECK NO thats for
real life convos not puter discussion groups ... and I tell my self to try
harder to communicate better with typed words , clay art has really helped me
to think out of the box in communications or out of new england with
southern expressions LOL hey I have been in NC over half my life , I still get
laughed out of town when I admit that my peoples back home in Maine think I
sound southern.

If we could all cut some proverbial slack to the newbies that dont know
whats up or if your newbie try not to take everything word for word as some
folks on this list have been here for a very long time and have made
friendships that allow the familiarity and kidding that could be misconstrued as
rudeness. I admit to being guilty to this at times and I was new on the list
once too. All I can do is try my best and hope that folks including
myself will forgive if any of us step on toes we dont mean to step on because of
the geographical challenge ...

anyhow the only reason I am writing about any of this is I have been
embarrassed beyond words in the clay art forum because I didnt speak clear
enough or didnt write correctly or space things right or do enough paragraphs or
or or LOL... I have never claimed any fame as a master of the english
language but I sure do like trying every now and again to communicate with my
peers in a forum that I do hold with as much passion as my brain can
handle. Many may not know it but I absolutely adore Joyce in Mojave, she has
mastered the art of english language like no other on this list in my opinion
. She gets across to me and I love reading everything she has to say.. I
was teasing her only as she is owned by a terrordale also and I have not
had time to make tin foil hats for myself never mind make one for her so we
can avoid some of the terrordale mind melding that happens as caretakers of
these critters...

Ok nuff rambling I must go back to laboring on labor day... I feel like
the plate lady from HELL.. 35 plates needing slip trailing applied and
smooshed and my wrist is screaming in agony.

Cat aka Moe mom of Curly the airedale studio dog, man I need a tin
foil hat fast...
