Hi folks,

Now that my mom is settled in her new home here in NC, and life is
starting to get back to normal (maybe, temporarily), I think I'm
ready to open another form gallery, this time of plates, platters,
trays, and other flattish things.

For those who weren't around or don't remember, the form galleries
are web-places for Clayart folks to share examples of work of
different kinds, get inspirations from the work of others, etc. You
can find them by going to http://www.potteryforms.org. So far we
have done pitchers, lidded forms, and drinking vessels, plus the
"mug" gallery from this spring's stay-at-home exchange.

All the established galleries are still open for new contributions, and
I'll start the plate gallery as soon as I get some submissions.

The rules are: Any Clayart member can enter work, there is no
jurying, and you can submit up to two images in each gallery. I'm
going to post a larger and a smaller version of each image, so
please send me a picture that looks good at about 450x450 pixels
(I can make the smaller version myself, but I can't turn a small
picture into a big one, so don't send tiny little images). Please do
not send files larger than 500k or so. Pictures should be in .jpg
format.

Please include at least your name and location and a sentence
about what gallery your submission is intended for in the body of
your message -- don't just send a blank message with an
attachment, because I won't open it.

Thanks!

Chris Schafale
