Ah yes,
Datura!
That hedgerow plant know variously as Thornapple, Devil's Trumpet,
Jimson Weed, Apple of Peru and other names.
A member of the Solonacac=E6.
I have often thought that the ash of this plant; roots, stems, leaves,
flowers and seeds, would make a good addition the our list of glaze
materials
Cereus, as I recall, is a member of the cacti which has multiple
straight upright stems that bear multiple creamy white trumpet flowers
loved by bees who seek night blooms before they wither in the sun.
Best regards,
Ivor Lewis.
