Dear Friends,
Eosin Glaze is not due to the use of the substance eosin, which is an
organic compound of Bromine, but an extension of the Reduced Lustre
process studied and perfected by the Hungarian Scientist Vince Wartha
(1844-1914) using multiple layers of Silver and Copper lustre and
multiple firings
All the information you need is to be found in an extensive article
found at
http://www.sci-tech.hu/history/landmark/wartha.htm
Reading between the lines I suspect that Zsolnay Eosin Lustre work was
done on good old fashioned Lead glazes
Examples of Eosin Ware are to be found in several web sites including
