"Where in the US can i buy dried glazes??"

Try Laguna Clay (lagunaclay.com). They have almost all their glazes in dry form. And some distributors (such as Cornell Supply in Dayton OH) also distribute for Laguna. I'm sure other distributors do as well. You will get more answers from this list.

Coyote Clay in Albuquerque sells dried glazes and they've got an online
gallery so you can get an idea of what glaze combinations look like.

They sent me a really helpful sheet describing the glaze characteristics and
although I'm still experimenting, I'm happy with what I'm seeing.

You might not be looking for the colors they provide but it's worth a look.

Good luck!

Rovin Ceramics glazes are sold as dry powder. They have
different base glazes for cones 06-05, 6, and 9-10.
They also have low-fire Cone 05 "Bright Ice" glazes and
underglazes that come in colors. These come in one-pound
containers that you add water to and shake.

I haven't tried any of these myself. (I think mixing my own
and seeing what comes out is a big rush, kinda like my childhood
Gilbert Chemistry Set!)

Hi Gustavo,
Lots of suppliers carry dry glazes. Be sure to check in your local
area, you may be surprised to find some nearby.
If you are on the West Coast, ClayPeople in Richmond, CA. has a good
selection and they also carry the Tom Coleman cone 10 glazes that
Aardvark sells. These are in dry form. Leslie Ceramic Supply in
Berkeley also has dry glazes. Alpha Ceramics in Sacramento has a small
selection of dry glazes, mostly raku. I think they have other types as
well. IMCO (Industrial Minerals Co.) in Sacramento was carrying
Opulence dry glazes and may still have them.
But it just goes to show that you should check with your local
suppliers to see what they might carry. The "big" suppliers carry them,
though, and if you are lucky, you may be near one of them!

We carry quite a few dry glazes, many stocked and many more available by
special order. What temperature glazes are you looking for? Low-fire
(04-06) are rarely sold/stocked dry by any US supplier, but there are a
few available. There are MANY more dry glazes available at Cone 5 or
Cone 10. I'd be happy to help you, contact me off-list by e-mail or
toll-free (888) 822-1982.

Depending on where your at, I've noticed that supply houses
that offer their own glazes have them in dry.

I can go down to Seattle Pottery or Clay Art Center and pick
up a 1, 5, 10, 25, 50 or even 100lbs bags of dry glazes.
