Ok, I'm a skeptic. When I see commercials on TV for the latest and =
greatest cleaning product (cleaners that make dirt settle to the bottom =
of the water?), I just can't see how they can be any better than good =
old 409 and a scrubby pad. But I've been thinking that I'm 37 years =
old; surely by now the brains have come up with SOMETHING that'll make =
cleaning jobs easier. So, I got a carton of those Mr. Clean Magic =
Erasers at Wallyworld while ago. We have pale lavender (almost white) =
walls that I've been looking at with dreams of new paint lately (the =
house is 6 years old....getting to be time.) Thought I'd try these =
things first - they're cheaper than paint. ;)

THEY WORK! Ok, I don't know if they'll really clean crayon, because my =
cats don't use 'em, but they definitely do get off the scrapes and bumps =
you put on the walls bringing stuff in and out the doors, CLAY swipes, =
cat food splats, and even purple acrylic paint (oops!), all with less =
effort than 409 and scrubby, and better than, as well. So, I don't know =
HOW they work (or if they'd work on Raku!), but they do. I have no =
affiliation with the company, and YMMV. A couple of down sides: I don't =
think they'd work well on a textured wall, because the texture would eat =
the sponge up faster. And, they don't last long - the more you use them =
the more they disappear, which I think is weird. I used up one entire =
sponge on probably 16ftsq of wall.
