my workshop in connecticut

Hi everyone - there are still spaces for my upcoming workshop, and
I sure would like to have a few Clayart friends in the group.
The workshop is 3 1/2 days, at Canton Clay Works, in suburban
Hartford, and is titled "Woodfiring Doesn't Mean Brown".
We will load and fire the naborigama kiln, and while it is cooling
we will do an extruder workshop.
See the website http://www.cantonclayworks.com for information.
I seldom travel so far from Texas, so I hope to meet some of you.

I have not been heard from on Clayart lately because of the wild
weather around here. We lost electricity 5 times in the last 10 days,
for up to 3 days at a time. There was lots of wind, but we suffered no
damage.
Then, my computer went out. I was so glad I bought it from the
guy down the road. I took it over to him, he turned it on and
said the video card was bad. In 5 minutes he had a new one
installed and the cover back on the machine.
Try doing that at Best Buy or Circuit City!

Anyone who can make this workshop will be glad
they did. David's work is a delight, and his workshops
are not only informative - they are FUN. So go for it -
time's a-wastin'.

David, I've been hearing about the weather down there.
Actually, it's been fairly wild here, but not quite so much
rain in one gulp. Plenty of tornadoes, though, bouncing
around. Have a good time in Hartford!
