Thanks Simona, haven't made it to the library yet, but will do so soon.

Question to the Clay-arters: A parent recently offered me the use of a wheel for my classes (not as a gift-but sort of on loan) what should I look for when I check it out?

Greetings, G. from da U.P.,
The easy way to check out a wheel is take a dozen 1lb. and a dozen 4lb.
lumps of clay and throw 24 cylinders. If the wheel breaks before you
are done the wheel is junk! It's that simple.
