Hiked two trails in Cloudland Canyon with the Dr of Geology Sunday.. Learned
lots of cool things about rocks in Cloudland Canyon..I met him at the Weiman
Mineral Museum...
Also saw lots of Ariseamias"Jack in the Pulpit" plants.. Saw more this
morning on the trail to the lower falls
Any way , the reason for this note is that the Dr told me where there is a
outcrop of Bentonite on a road cut.. He drew up a map. I really want to see
this.. If any of you are into looking at rocks and minerals in the WILD,, come and
join me on a road trip about a hour south of me on I-59 on the way to Ft Pane
