A 5 Day Pottery Course Focussing all the Aspects of Production=20
Functional Pottery.

August 9 to 13, 2004 at Pike=92s Studio in High River, Alberta, Canada
Intermediate Level-You must be able to throw. 8-10 people-$345+gst-not=20=

including clay
We will talk about our production pottery techniques-throwing,designing=20=

pots for production, extruding handles, plaster bats, throwing off the=20=

hump, how we market our work, preparing clay, loading and firing a gas=20=

kiln, mixing glazes, glazing, tools we use, our glazing methods, and=20
testing glazes.
Connie will demonstrate on the wheel -bowls, mugs, lidded=20
forms-casseroles, teapots, jugs, plates, platters,whatever there is=20
time for. And you will have time to throw. Pieces will not be fired or=20=

glazed.
Bob can answer questions on all aspects of kilns and making plaster=20
bats and molds.
We have worked with clay for thirty years full time,as a production=20
potters.
There is accommodation at hotels, motels and at the campground
Our intention of this course is to get some people together, have a=20
good time, have some meals together and share some of our experience.
