Slight correction. I got professor McConnell's name wrong. Comes from
relying on my poor memory

Petuntse from Sanbao 2002:

This analysis was done for me by a lab that Michael Wendt used and he
allowed me to submit a sample in March 2004.
The sample is from a cake of hammer milled and levigated china stone
formed into a petuntse (little white brick). It was obtained by gift
from Professor Connelly who got it from the hammer mill on the
premises of the Sanbao Ceramic institute near Jingdezhen, China.
The petuntse are taken to a large factory in Jingdezhen where they
are mixed with about 40 % kaolin and ball milled in huge ball mills.
Then the body is filter pressed and pugged to make one of the kinds
of porcelain that are used in Jingdezhen.
