Thanks so much to all who cared to inform in this respect. I've printed your answers and will share them with the guy who graciously allows me to fire my work in his kiln, but can not resist to open and unload it .. still very hot, before I arrive. Maybe thinking he is helping. I dread to see cracks in his kiln and my shattered work inside. I think it will not happened again.

I've been firing all sorts of kilns in the last 20 years and know the virtue of patience. Had my share of disasters and know better.
