signing posts #2

I've heard now from more than one of you that
you are unable to remember to sign your
posts ..... one says that she/he will have to leave
the List if he/she has to sign. =20

I understand, I think. I taught what we referred
to as "Special Education" for years, have=20
an advanced degree in such...... have immense
empathy for those afflicted...... know that we ALL
have some form of "learning challenge"..... it's
just that for many of us more fortunate ones, the
challenge is not related to academics... at
least, not directly. I can't sing...... big deal...
only kept me out of choir. I have a terrible
directionality challenge..... have written about
it several times...... found that most of you do,
too..... just didn't know it had an official label.
The only issue I've had to face because of my
"poor sense of direction" is looking like a fool
when traveling anywhere new....... or old....
whether just down the road apiece or across
country.... never meant much one way or the
other in a school setting.

I will give one more brief explanation....... when
moderating I receive anywhere from 100 - 150
potentially virus-laden posts under the Clayart
guise..... sometimes more. They usually are
not signed. I delete them, of course. When
I receive a "genuine" post with no signature....
or one I think may be genuine...... I have to
go back to the e-mail address.... re-read some
of the verbiage...... and make a decision as
to whether or not the post is legitimate. =20

Do not post to tell me how to correct this,
please. I have two excellent virus-nabbers
installed yattityyattityyattity.

In the Mojave going for a cuppa that new tea.....
black tea with pineapple, kiwi, mango etc.
I was skeptical at first but it really is good.

Most folks can have their email program sign for them. I've had mine
turned off because Jean and I use the same account & have been doing it
manually so she doesn't have to delete my sig. But you made me
think, I could just sign "from Mashiko, Japan" and that would work
for use both. And I would just have to sign my name.

Anybody using Mozilla Thunderbird can download Tagzilla to
automatically add

I use a program called Shortkeys (a shareware program) to write signatures.
It is the most useful program I have ever found.
