You are definitely on the right track in solving the problem - re the =
clay content of the glaze. Not sure about the water effect.
A couple of temporary suggestions: Could you safely have the freshly =
glazed pots in front of a small forced air heater? Small batch on a =
board that you could turn.=20
Are your current glaze batches small enough that you could make up a =
batch using only calcined epk to combine? ( assuming you have tested =
percentages of calcined to non-calcined and need a 50% epk/calcined )=20
This problem can also occur with stoneware/porcelain in a high fire kiln =
