in fact, i think we should make it
our duty as clayart professionals
(those that get out the word, and
make things happen.)

to let all the folks that make and sell
wheels to set the speed at the factory
to be used for throwing. slow them down.

several wheels delivered could win the
indy 500.

are you listening howard axner,
mr. brent, good old folks at ci.
hey, do we have to send this note in
japanese to shimpo?

slow em down.
ask a potter.

ci now makes a `laptop wheel`.
i saw it at nceca.
you could have that thing run on
batteries and throw pots on a flight from
new york to boston. make at least three mugs.

Hey Mel:
I think this post may qualify for that
"redass" button of yours, but:

Last I checked, a flight from NY to
Boston took an hour or more,
depending on how many loop de
loops the pilot was asked to do
circling the airport waiting to land,
and assuming everyone could
get through security without removing
their shorts, shoes, pacemakers etc.

At your throwing speed that's a lot
more than three mugs, or are you
including the handle pulling time?

And who is going to hold those things
while they dry? I know, give 'em to
the caterwauling three year olds
wailing in stereo up front.
