are their any clayarters out there in or near wimberley tx?.....it =
appears that we will be moving into that area this summer and i'd like a =
little artsy info.

we live in paris, tx currently...but.. since dannon left paris... all =
the fun is gone!!;;((((.......truthfully, there are other reasons for =
the move...all good.....but, the loss of dannon to the paris area is a =
major bummer....i can't begin to tell all that i learned from her =
....methods, technical info for glazing and especially firing, the =
right books to have in your studio, throwing and hand building =
techniques...on and on.....and, all the wonderful potters that she =
invited for workshops.....mel, doug, david, to name a few.

changes happen.....life goes on....dannon is in indiana now and nceca is =
in indiana, so we will see her and talk and laugh and catch up on her =
latest explosive adventures.=20

I don't know about Wimberly specifically, but the Austin area has a very
active clay community. You can contact Connie McCreary
[fond-of-fire@austin.rr.com] for more information on the GACA (Greater
Austin Clay Arts). The group is a great way to meet folks in this neck
of the woods.
