Trades" from foreign Lands...!

Hi Lisa,

Me too!

I will happily trade Tools for end-bolts or yardage of
certain fabrics...(or even for a lead as pans out for me TO
get some)...

Namely, certain colors of (true) fine knap 'Silk' ( not
rayon napp, not Rayon warp & weft, but 'Silk' all the way
through, or Silk napp on cotton Warp and Weft ) Velvet. As,
supposedly still is made in Japan and maybe Italy...and
maybe China...

Also, certain colors of very fine 'Cotton' velveteen ( not
Rayon anywhere in it)...As is made in China, Japan and some
other places I think...

Also..(true) "Oilcloth" (not 'vinyl') in solid colors...As
may have been made in some parts of the former, broader,
"C.C.C.P."

Also (true) 'Leatherette' (not 'vinyl')...ditto...

Old Stock, or old left-overs are just fine with me...even
better in fact.

Any prospects greatly appreciated...!

Yours,

Phil
Las Vegas

You know too, some people have a remarkably high tolerance,
or, an acquired tolerance for 'hi-tension' Electricty....and
can play the old joke of having one hand on the uninsulated
end of a Spark Plug lead wire of a running Engine, and say,
"Hey, hand me that Wrench" and...when you do..."whammo!!!"
( But not with the 'modern' cars...whose hi-tension juice I
am told will kill you...)

Or the other old joke, of standing next to a running 'bike
(Well, most old 'bikes did not tend to have an insulated
boot on the spark plug or the end of the lead wire that is)
and saying to some kid or other naive pilgrim..."Hey, I bet
you can't pee far enough ( or straight enough) to hit that
sparkplug!"...
