Hey Simona,
I don't know the answer to your question but I have had the same results =
when using Bar Keeper's Friend. Beautiful copper pieces turn instantly =
brown and very ugly. Re-firing, even with additional glaze, still =
results in the ugly brown. Must be some kind of chemical reaction. I =
stick to Ajax and a ScotchBrite scrubbie these days.
