After many tests I am still unable to create a non-crackel clear glaze for
our local Sandnes, Norway terracotta clay. It's range is from 920c to
1040c. It has a shrinkage of 7% on bisque firing. I bisque fire in an
electric kiln at 980c and glaze at 1044c (Orton cone 5). If anyone has a
good recipe with as few exotic frits as possible I would appreciate the
