slow bisque and dry pots

i have found over many years...that placing pots
on top of my electric kiln for at least one cycle
to dry and warm your greenware is worth the time
to put the stuff their and take it off.

i always load greenware on top of my bisque firing
kiln.
i have not lost a pot to cracks in maybe thirty years.
i know the force drying works. slow warm, lots of air around the pots.

heavy pots out on the edge, light things like mugs
are stacked in the middle.
and, remember, my little kiln is 40 years old.
no cracks in the lid. looks new.
