Thanks Chris,
Pure laziness on my part to look it up! I went to Hamer and Hamer after =
I wrote this. Then I found something curious in Parmalee's Ceramic =
Glazes, "When a small amount of Ce2O3 (sorry) is fritted into a glaze it =
flouresces when exposed to ultraviolet light."=20
So here goes my mind, I am thinking, imagine a thinly thrown vase of =
Laguna's ultra transuscent "Southern Ice" porcelain glazed with =
something containing cerbium oxide then lit from inside with an =
ultaviolet light. Would make an interesting display for a gallery, =
would it work like I am thinking?

Hello Amy and all: Parmalee does seem to hint at some wild glaze ideas.
He really got my imagination going by talking about the possibility of
phototropic glazes. Glazes that act like photo grey eyeglasses. How
sweet would it be to have a pot or tiles change from white to black with
the sun! I have thought about that for maybe twenty years.
Cheers

I guess it is like raku:
In raku we force the buyers to keep their wares in the shade- here we
force them to lighten their homes with ultra violet.
By the way these lamps tell you if you are wearing everything you have
to (Up and down)!
