Not when a child might be hurt.

Of course do Raku with them, but you do the hot stuff.

They can put glazes on, look at sample firings you might bring in.

They can look at HOW the kiln fires, consider the mix of gas and oxygen, etc=

They can learn something about loading the kiln.

They can take detailed notes and systematically test the effects of differen=
t=20
reduction materials.

Just have adults do the fire stuff.
