Hi, I am new to the list and have been reading a lot and getting great =
information. I am a hobby potter and have always just wedged on a piece =
of smooth plywood. If the clay is wet I wedge with the table dry. If =
dry, the wood absorbs water and I use that.

With all this talk I am thinking I am missing something. Would it be =
better if I put canvas on it? Thanks, Lowell Ann

Hi Lowell Ann,
This is a classic case of 'if it ain't broke, don't fix it". Why add canvas
when you are happy with wood?
