becoming a muggette

updated tue 20 jan 04

To whoever is taking applications, I would like to apply a position as a
muggette.

And for any of you who think that this means I won't be organizing the
Clayart Slide workshope, you're wrong.

Stay tuned, this year will be little different and hopefully, even more
interesting and helpful.

Hi Russel.

A muggette? Do tell, just what is a muggette. I think I might be one
soon!

I am about to embark on making about a hundred mugs (no, I am not a
production pottery) as I have three commitments that motivate me to do
so:

(1) 2004 Staty-at-Home Clay Exchange (see recent post) for those of us
not able to attend NCECA (thanks Chris!)

(2) Help Mug Illiteracy: An Invitation to Potters. From the Volunteer
English Program In Chester County via John Hesselberth (thanks John!).
A worthy cause.

(3) Submission to the 500 Cups (thanks Suzanne Tourtillot). I saw the
notice in a recent issue of CM and I enjoyed the books on 500 Bowls and
500 Teapots and thought I'd try for a submission to the third in the
series.

By the time I'm done I should be better at making mugs and much better
at pulling handles!

Regards,

Linda
