I know this is off topic but I don't know anyone else from New Zealand to
ask. Why does my calendar, which tells me all about when Kwanza begins and
ends and tells me the Day of the Dead is a Mexican holiday also tell me that
January 2 is "The Day after New Years Day" in New Zealand? Isn't that true
everywhere? I looked at January 3, but it doesn't indicate that it's
the"Second Day after New Years Day " any place.

Dear Lou Roess
January 2nd is a Statutory Holiday in New Zealand, but January 3rd is
but an Ordinary Hum Drum Sort of Day. One could, I suppose elevate it to
some sort of Heroic Plane of Being by choosing to play a round of GOLF,
I repeat GOLF, on that day.
