a tale of woe - my new axner wheel

Dear Mary Lee:
We also just bought a new Axner wheel. They are very easy to set up.
First to put on the little booties all you have to do is warm them up. You could
use a heat gun, If you do not have a heat gun you can use a hair dryer if you
do not have one of them run very hot water over them, once you warm them up
they pop right on. After the booties you put the splash pan on exactly the way
you would expect it to go. You put the little drain hole with the cork in it, as
you would sit at the wheel to throw the drain hole goes on the far left side.
Then you slide the wheel head over the axle with the two grooves over the
roll pin in the axle. Then you use the t bar hex wrench to tighten the screw in
the middle of the wheel head to the axle in the center. All you do then is plug
it in and go.
Good luck with your new wheel I am sure you will love it.

Drove to Axner's today and bought their model 300 wheel. So excited. Took a
bit of doing to get it out of the car and into the studio. (We're a trifle
over 70.) Not sure if there was supposed to be directions on assembling the
wheel head but none included and I'm mechanically illiterate. Can't call Axner,
they closed early today. It would be nice to start the new year with some
new pots. If there is someone who could e-mail me some simple instructions, it
would be appreciated.

Oh, and how do you get it's booties on?

PS. I have a 4 year old noisy Brent B for sale with throwing arm and opener.
