hello all, i just bought this very good used paragon srf82 kiln,do not have
the manual hence the dumb questions begin. has a min to max power switch
and a timer switch not counting the timer on the kiln sitter. when this
thing is turned on with the timer i only get 4 of 8 elements to heat, going
for the on position instead of time all 8 are glowing brightly,is this just
the way it is or is my timer switch malfunctioning, did i spell that right
,printed a scematic from paragon and checked everything without getting
killed i know you are all glad.
on that note i will be attending a funeral tommorow for a 45 year old
friend in perfect health, gym nut none drinker and drug user, fell over dead
from a brain annurizm(no i misspelled that one)
damn glad to be alive for today

Gordon, last week I loaded the manual for your SnF-82 kiln to Paragon's
website, along with other manuals, including the one for Paragon's older
A-series kilns. The link:

http://www.paragonweb.com/catalog.cfm?type=manuals

We charge $11 for a printed manual, but you can download the same manual at
no charge from the website.

Your SnF-82 kiln was our first automatic, which came out in 1986. When you
turn on switch #1 (the top switch), every other element comes on. The other
elements remain off. The top switch is an infinite control.

When time runs out on switch #2, all of its elements turn on. They remain on
continuously until the Kiln Sitter shuts off the kiln. The elements for
switch #1 turn on and off, since switch #1 is an infinite control.

Sincerely,

Arnold Howard
