Michelle (Mishy) Lowe hosted the Gartside workshop this past weekend at =
her DesertDragon Pottery Studio. It was fun and very instructive. The =
workshop was not to be missed. It tossed out all the sanctity of =
scientifically calculated glaze making and made "Common-Sense" the =
glaze-maester. Ingredients were mixed half and half, then the resultant =
test tiles evaluated. Some very satisfying results surprised us. Most =
importantly, we learned to relax and have fun somewhat like kids. Brian =
has a droll sense of humour and is a delight.=20
