Hi All,

Recently I was given an old Skutt model B wheel with one minor problem
- -- It has no wheel head! I've been searching the Web looking for
spare parts but am not finding much. Besides the missing wheel head
it seems to be in great shape and before I go looking for someone to
machine a new aluminum wheel head I'm wondering if anyone knows
whether or not any of the modern wheel manufacturer's wheel heads
might fit this wheel? From various pictures I have found online it
looks like the shaft on the Thomas Stuart wheels is very close to the
shaft on the Skutt but it's hard to tell for sure.

Best Regards,

Thomas Duffey

Measure the shaft on your wheel & check to see if it tapered. Then
call (don't go online, they probably don't list the information you
need) each manufacturer and ask if their wheel head fits your shaft.
