digital photos to slides using computer monitor

We had this discussion before and it's probably in the archives but in a
pinch you can take a photo of your computer screen. Not for publication but
great for projection, we did it for years to put together a senior class
slide show for graduation. Just use a tripod and a slow enough shutter speed
to lose the refresh lines on the monitor, usually below 1/30 of a second
will do it. Works great and you can add titles!

You guys know the Giffin ad I am (aka the new poster boy for the grip) it
was shot with my canon 3.3 mega pixel camera. No corrections or filters.
Digital works fine for print--just depends on the image quality and
resolution.

Thank you.

Tony,
Looks like they lightened you up in the December issue vs. the November
issue. (less contrast). Which one is closer to the original? Of course
it might just be where each of my issues fell in the press run.
