molds or other

There's certainly argument anytime anyone puts
something out to market. Maybe theres other ways to
look for answers? A pre-market check for those
interested in a calender that represents just mold
made and slab formed pieces. The world is a BIG
audience! I'm pretty sure it must have been stressfull
putting the calender together? Its also apparent that
others contributed their work but there is an open
exchange between the artist and the calender maker so
that argument shouldnt be included. Its a known fact
that the advertisement is in part what attracts the
offers for those interested in getting their work
shown. Its a choice and an agreement between the two
parties. So with limits, other doors open and new
ideas spring forth.

I see both sides of the coin but I think the thrown
pieces retricted to hand thrown is going to come out
the winner if they were a poll involved. On the flip
side I am sure they would be takers and maybe plenty
of them if they were an additional calender put out by
someone representing the other forms of clay art.

Molds have been glued in the minds to the ceramic side
of this for so long it would be great to have that
advantage of re-training the masses out there that
they are other methods for producing great work.

All clay work is great to someone at some time! It all
takes work and each form has its own place among the
world of collectors. Even bad art can be used for
making a calender that would sell if the right
marketing is done. Not that I would want to see it
come about.
