I look at Lee's mugs and can only imagine what a cuppa fresh-brewed Joe would be like on a cold, blustery, Northwest day, sipped slowly out of one of those handsome pieces. Nothing showy, nor too austere. Simple, functional, unpretentious. Calm, serene, a reflection of the maker.

I like the tiles, too, Lee. Did you carve a press-mold, or slip trail the designs?

Tig,

Chunk the java and try a nice, steamy cup of hot Dr Pepper. Add a thin
slice of orange or lemon and you are in heaven. Hot Dr Pepper would
look lovely in Lee's mugs and taste mm mm good too.

Thank you Tig. I made the mugs but I didn't make the tiles. The tiles
are on a public restroom near Hamada's reference museum. One shows a male
potter working and the other shows a female potter working:
