No. It's what's sometimes called a 'porcelainous
stoneware'. You could consider it a smooth, white
stoneware, or a sort of impure, low-grade porcelain.
Some people find that it combines the advantages of
both stoneware and porcelain, while others find
that it only combines the disadvantages. It's all
in what you consider desirable, I think. Some folks
love it, others don't.
It comes in a ^10 and a ^5 variation.
