Sounds like the Old Clayart! Thanks to all of you
for giving purpose ...... and excitement...... to my
studio time. I was using those few hours to
maintain sanity and a decent disposition .... and
because everyone,
especially #1 SP, kept saying that I mustn't
give up my clay and MUST get out there and DO
something. They're all correct; on the other
hand, my time was a bit draggy because I had
nothing BIG in mind......... big on the Learning
Curve that is. I was more than a little ashamed
of myself for feeling that way ......... but NOW
Shino is back in town with all its different
guises.

Sooo Magnanimous Monogamous it is, ol'
gurus ....... for the nonce. Only it won't be
one shino........ but Liz's, Mel's with double
soda ash, and Hank's two very different
looks ...... and an attempt to use slips for
some color as Tony uses them on his
patchwork mug sitting at my elbow at this
moment. Maybe a little of Craig's ashy
glaze, too..... that's still pretty much within
the parameters for Enough Excitement for
one day.

I've been stalling my firings for some time and
think there's improvement ... want to
continue in that learning mode.

Thank you.
Joyce
In the Mojave thanking Bruce for his great
post, too, which I actually sort of understood.
Wonderful analogy. Happy to see Dave still
speeding forward with or without wheels ......
such a contrast...... that strong will with
that laid back persona.........
