I have a recipe that calls for superior glaze clay (I found an old =
Clayart posting that said it's also called No. 1 glaze clay). My =
supplier has never heard of it. I've written to Old Hickory Clay Co. =
regarding distributors for their No. 1 glaze clay but so far haven't =
heard from them. Could I substitute something else for the superior =
glaze clay?
Mixing up my first test batches of glaze in BC!

Cedar Heights had a clay that they called a glaze clay. I never used it, so

This is likely just a ball clay. Just use your ball clay.
