What makes bamboo ash special, and how is it useful? I just was given a
nice supply, and am unsure how to start...archives did not supply much.

Bamboo ash on Dankwean Thailand red clay at stoneware temps makes a
clear greenish glaze.
Cane ash can be too refractory so make sure its bamboo.
