Has anyone used APT II for reglazing? It says to mix it with the glaze =
and it will make the glaze adhere to the already fired piece. Does it =
work, or is the old fashioned way of heating the piece better? Thanks, =

it works well. HOWEVER, I found that the "Floetrol" latex paint additive
stuff they sell at Home Depot appears to be really close to the same thing
and a whole lot cheaper!!! you can add it into glaze for reglazing, work it
into clay that you are going to pull handles from, etc. all the same stuff
they advertise APT for. It's really good for wedging into clay to make it
more plastic and it seems to burn out cleanly. I used to use it all the
time, then ran out and got out of the habit...
