Hi, I'm heading south & would like some information on potteries to visit
- will be going down 81 mostly but want to stop at 16 Hands & Penland. Any
ideas for potters to visit on the way & into Atlanta?

Barbara,
If you go to Penland, you might want to the John Campbell =
Folk School in Brasstown , NC. .It isn't far off the beaten path . Also =
visit the studios of Smoke on the Mountain in Young Harris, Ga. I could =
go on and on, because the hills of north Ga. and NC. are full of potters =
known and unknown. Have a fun trip. Take home some Ga. mud.

If you want to run east on 340 through WVA and MD for about 25 minutes, you
can stop in and visit us here in Frederick, MD...easy to get here from I-81.
Nice drive, too.
