sources wanted - balance beam scales

I need a balance beam type scale that can weigh up to at least 50 lbs.
It needs a large platform - big enough to handle one or two 5 gallon
plaster buckets at a time. And it needs to be of the type that the
platform basically sits on or close to the floor, and the beam is up high.

If anyone has sources for this type scale, I would appredciate hearing
from you.

Thanks!

John-
I think I know what you mean. Try checking with these folks:
http://www.pacceram.com/index.htm
They carry used stuff from all facets of ceramics. Sometimes they have pretty good scales for the size you're looking for.

Good luck.

John:
It sounds like what you want is a good old fashioned doctor's office scale,
the kind you stand on and the nurse takes your height and weight. You might
want to check with a local pediatrician and see where they got theirs.
hope that helps,
