Contact the factory and ask what you should do and follow their advice.
They have the experience and would rather make you happy than sell
parts.
None of the kiln manufacturers make their living off parts.
They'd rather sell kilns.

Hello to all,

I'm a lurker here, but need some help today, so I'm
posting in hopes that someone can offer some support
or advice. I have a Paragon Tnf82, with about 20
firings under it's belt. It's 26 months old, so out of
warranty. But basically very brand new. I love it.

Yesterday, I had just started a glaze firing, and the
kiln shut off after an hour. I did some diagnostics
and discovered a blown fuse, so I replaced it. It blew
again. Tried it again- this time, the electronic
controller lit up like a Christmas tree, with the
alarm going off and every digital number lighting up.
It seems like it's stuck in some sort of
electronic-alarm-mode-hell.

The manual says- if the fuse blows, replace the
transformer. I'm leaning in that direction, but of
course, the glazed load sitting inside the kiln right
now is an important load, one that needs to be fired
by late this week.

Any suggestions for getting this running in the near
term? Is there a way to bypass the electronics and
fire it manually?

Thanks so much for any help you can offer!

Jamie in Ohio
