Lili: Thank you for the input about wollanstonite. But I'd like to first explore further the surfaces upon which I am putting the glaze.

About 3304: After many moons of searching, I did find one supplier in the U.S. that does have a small supply of the original fritted lead 3304. I'm one of the first people who has asked for it in a while, so if his supply lasts longer than me I have no problem. If, however,I last longer than his supply, I can just drive 30 min. south and get it in Mexico. That is if it's in the not too far distant future and I'm not too old and worn and still fell like doing it. creak creak ha ha.

About Tests: I did try distilled water.
Also tried two different clays.
Going to try on two terra sigs I use: one XXsaggar and one OM4
Also will try using on top of a light tan slip.
Will let you know the results.

About Reclaimed Clay: I don't do it anymore. But a Veeery interesting concept. Mmmmmmh. I no longer reclaim clay because I have very little discarded wet clay to begin with and what I do accumulate I bang it flat while moist, dry it, glaze it green, then breakup for mosaic work. These pieces I either use myself or give to mosaic artists or donate to schools for use in class projects.

About NYC water: Maybe I need to import some New York City Water and start reclaiming clay with it and see how my glaze works with it...afterall I spent 30 years reclaiming clay with it. Anyone want to send me some good tasting NYC wawa. Preferrable from a village faucet? Yeah. sure.
