I had trouble with the clear 5 X 20 glaze also but when I added superpax I
got a beautiful white with no problems. I added copper to that and have a
soft 'oxidised copper' green with no problems also. But I tried G1214W
clear, which I believe is also a glaze by Tony Hansen and it has worked
wonderfully. A much richer, "fatter" clear than I had been using (the
popular GB, EPK, Flint clear)
