"BRUNSWICK BOWLS"

SAY, CAN YOU SPARE A FEW BOWLS?
......................................................................

REQUEST FOR DONATIONS

Brunswick St. United Church is in the midst of fund raising to support its
work in the community. Brunswick St. United runs a drop-in, breakfast
program, food bank, clothing centre, provides councelling and assistance to
those in need. It provides space for groups such as Food not Bombs, HOHA,
and Community Action on Homelessness. It is nearly finished the rebuilding
of Camp Brunswick and will again be able to provide urban youth with
camping experience and programs.

Part of this year's "Great Thanksgiving" , is an event unabashedly modeled
on NSCAD Ceramic's "Hungry Bowls" (initiated in the early 90's by Walter
Ostrum).

"BRUNSWICK BOWLS" IS LOOKING FOR DONATIONS OF BOWLS FROM POTTERS AND
CERAMIC ARTISTS: They need to be functional bowls that can be used for soup
. IF YOU INCLUDE A CARD OR SLIP OF PAPER WITH YOUR INFO, credit will be
given at the event. The event will be held 6pm October 18th, 2003 at the
Holiday Inn Select.
Sales of tickets go to support Brunswick Street United Church, it's
