How did you find out your levels of manganese was so high? blood tests? My
Doctor
does Chelation treatments.
Here in Canada it is not covered and as far as I am
aware the medical profession doesn't believe in it.
Before I became pregnant I was concerned about the same thing. My Doctor
suggested
I give him a hair sample that they could be test for high amount of
metals, etc...
But I didn't do it. Now I think maybe I should....

Hello Kat,

read this:

Urinary Manganese levels may be indicative of recent exposures, days to
weeks.
Tissue burden and serum concentrations of Manganese do not correlate with
symptomatology,
and symptoms can occurr and progress even after excess metal is cleared from
the tissues.
Therefore, serum, whole blood, and urine levels of Manganese may be normal
in acute or chronic
intoxication and cannot be used to predict severity of disease or future
progression.
This is contrast with lead encephalopathy.
