Scott,

I have not used a bluebird but am in love with my Peter Pugger. I have =
a 120V VPM30 de-airing model. I did not have any space to add another =
220V line on my panel. Have not had any problems with the 120V. Had to =
add 20amp plug to run it on a dedicated circuit. Have had it for over 1 =
year now.

I did not have the energy to do all the wedging and then throw and had =
19 5-gallon buckets of scrap accumulated when I got the PP. Just took a =
few afternoons and I had 1,000 lbs. of clay to use. =20

I do warm up all my fresh clay out of the boxes with it and cut to =
length and store in 5-gal buckets with lids to throw for the next day or =
so. On large pieces of clay I will wedge again when ready to throw but =
not on the small 3lbs. and under.

I bought the Peter Pugger because of the safety features on it. I have =
three grandchildren in the studio and they like to help and I feel they =
are safe around it.
